As the Building Safety Bill is phased into law, stringent controls over the delivery of fire safety data between gateways 2 and 3 will be introduced and overseen by the Building Safety Regulator.
Known as Fire and Emergency Files, or FEF, this information forms a core deliverable as part of the wider building safety case and is required on all Higher Risk Residential Buildings, currently defined as those exceeding 6 storeys or 18 metres in height with at least two residential units.
The FEF sets out critical information required by dutyholders to effectively manage their asset in respect to fire and emergency situations. Our FEF service delivers this structured data in a concise, simple and user-friendly format.
